I’m the flame
She’s the wind
Exploited in every way
At the stake of my own kin.
Forced smiles, hidden cries
To her, we’re nothing but mice
Unwanted goal buried deep inside
Tried to hide, desperately tried.
Wind twists flame
Corrupted all the way
Like I’m a marionette in play
Mangled echoes of her name.
Close in blood
Miles apart in moral
She is the core, I’m a mere stud
Her insides rotten black, outside sweet as flora.
